They prefer to use old timber, which is the only way to build an overall roof structure that already has the patina of age.  Thanks to their mastery of truss-cutting using old-fashioned methods with acacia pegs we can offer houses with exposed timbers which make them warm and welcoming. For the roof, they work exclusively with old “large mould’ roof tiles, the only technique giving an elegant curve to them.
